There's nothing like home, tweet home! Join us to celebrate Homes for Birds Week by building and painting your own birdhouse. Learn about what types of birds might use a house and other best practices for being a good bird house steward.

We love having migrating birds visit our feeders, but we love to know which birds are native to our area, too. Join us as Team Specialist Bryan Prather guides us on a walk through Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center discussing native birds that call the park home. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Have you been wanting to install a nesting box but confused on which one or where to put it? We've got you! Team Specialist Bryan Prather will explain the differences among the various types of nesting boxes, will let you know how & when to clean them, how to prep for which bird family you're hoping to invite, and how to keep sparrows from invading a birdhouse meant for another bird! There will be time allotted for Q&A.
